Position Description

Paul Consulting Group., an IT solutions provider, is currently seeking an Associate (Entry Level) Application Developer to become part of our development team to develop and release enhancements to multiple enterprise web and mobile applications. The successful candidate will have experience developing web applications with object-oriented design techniques utilizing Microsoft development technologies. This is a full-time position located in Tallahassee, FL and responsibilities include:

Expectations

  • Designing and implementing web/mobile applications using the .Net Framework within established project schedules.

  • Adhering to software requirements specifications and project timelines.

  • Adhering to established methodologies while continuously analyzing processes for improved performance and adaptability.

  • Working with Agile methodologies such as SCRUM to cultivate and maintain strong relationships within the project team

Experience

  • Associate of Science/ Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, MIS, IS, or related field or relevant experience/course work.

  • Design and/or development knowledge/experience with C#, .NET, web applications and SQL Server in an n-tier architecture or related development experience in other environments.

  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Design.

  • Knowledge of SQL syntax and relational databases.

  • Knowledge of design patterns/methodologies- MVC.

  • Knowledge of the system development life cycle.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Software Experience

  • Microsoft Visual Studio IDE or similar development environment.

  • Microsoft SQL Server (or other relational database management system).
