Location: Washington, DC.

ACLI seeks a web design expert to help grow our online capabilities. The individual will create and help manage new and existing websites. This role also includes training others to use our CMS and providing website overviews to members and staff.

The ideal candidate is interested in digital marketing strategies and can contribute to ACLI’s online growth. Excellent interpersonal skills and independent judgment are essential. Creativity, positivity and reliability are expected. This position is part of the Communications & Public Affairs team and reports to the Director, Web Design & Production.

Duties, responsibilities and accountabilities

  • Design, produce, maintain, update range of website products including impact.acli.com, acli.com
  • Liaise with contractors/developers.
  • Train content contributors to use our CMS.
  • Provide customer service for website(s) to members/staff.
  • Provide website analytics to stakeholders.

    Requirements and Qualifications

  •  Salary commensurate with experience
  • Design fundamental, advanced HTML/CSS, Responsive Web Design (Bootstrap a plus), UI/UX design concepts
  • Experience with wireframing, prototyping.
  • Experience with multiple CMS platforms, including WordPress (Sitecore a plus).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Google Analytics, SEO experience a plus.
  • Skilled in strategic problem-solving, communication, time-management and follow-through.
  • In touch with current web design trends, including aesthetics and functionality.
  • Dedicated to quality assurance and best practices.
  • Website marketing experience a plus.
