Duties & Purpose:
A part-time marketing assistant is needed at the Challenger Learning Center of Tallahassee for approximately four (4) months, June 1 – September 30, 2011.

The assistant’s responsibilities may include: writing news releases, media advisories, maintaining media lists, and coordinating media interviews with appropriate staff; special event planning and execution; developing collaterals including flyers, rack cards, etc.; updating website; email marketing and distribution using Constant Contact; social media, including Facebook, You Tube, Twitter; promote and obtain collateral materials for IMAX films from movie distributor; coordinating media buys; and distributing donations to community organizations.

Applicant must have strong written and verbal communication skills, be familiar in design and layout software such as Adobe Photoshop and be proficient in html using Adobe Dreamweaver.
