Position Summary:
Eckerd College invites applications for a part-time Reference Librarian position. This service-minded individual provides general reference assistance on weekends. Knowledge of electronic resources and good technical skills are necessary. Previous reference or experience working in an academic library preferred. Special projects are dependent on personal experience and ability, although experience with social media, marketing, and graphic design is desired. MLS/MLIS required.
During the academic year, hours will range between 10-20 hours a week. Times needing coverage are Friday (6 pm to 10 pm), Saturday (1 pm to 10 pm) and Sunday (1 pm to 10 pm) during the academic year. Summer session hours will be Mondays to Thursdays 6:00pm to 9:00pm May 26th to July 17th. Flexibility to cover additional hours on an as needed basis is desired.

Rate of pay: $18.00 per hour.
