Responsibilities

·       As a subject matter expert, designs, implements, manages, and supports SharePoint development for academic departments and non- academic units college-wide; Initiates, coordinates, and conducts deployment meetings; Serves as liaison with FSU SharePoint group; Maintains, documents, and assists in the development of current web-based applications and their support databases; Acts in compliance with internal policies and guidelines and ensures University and/or external agencies policies and guidelines are met.

·       Collaborates with departments on tech fee project plans, establishes cost of project implementation and the transition from implementation to ongoing use; Provides support for evaluating proposals and collaborates with departments on researching education technology solutions; Carries out implementation of project plans and provides support as needed; Contributes to reports on project effectiveness, expenditures, and suggestions for improvement; Coordinates internal and external events demonstrating College innovative usage of technology.

·       Provides consultation regarding technology solutions and enhancements at the department level and college-wide; Manages the evaluation, selection, and implementation of advanced technology resources as well as enhancements to current systems; Provides system administration and management of Windows and IOS servers including domain functions.

·       Responds to COE OIIT tickets for user support which includes, but is not limited to, independently researching, communicating with vendors and service providers for troubleshooting, and resolving complex technology issues using technical knowledge, research and experience; Provides back-up for other OIIT colleagues as needed.

·       Recommends ongoing training needs college-wide regarding technology, services, and resources; Prepares appropriate guides and documentation for workshops; Develops and facilitates orientation sessions (face-to-face and /or online) and workshops related to technology initiatives.

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree and four years of experience or high school diploma or equivalency and eight years experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years.

·       Experience designing, implementing, managing, and supporting SharePoint.

·       Experience providing technical consultation on projects and project management.

·       Ability to troubleshoot faculty and staff technical problems via phone, e-mail, and in person.

·       Valid state of Florida or Georgia driver’s license, or the ability to obtain.
