On April 12, 2025, Florida State University (FSU) hosted its Leadership Awards, an annual recognition of students, organizations, and employees who have demonstrated a commitment to student success and giving back to the community. The awards are hosted by the Office of Student Organizations and Involvement with a focus on leadership through achievement, service, or organizational involvement.
- Elizabeth Lavitman – Recognized with the President’s Award (recognizes an outstanding freshman who demonstrates service to the University and strong leadership potential)
- Malena Romero – Recognized with the Dean of Students Award (awarded to up to three students who exemplify commitment to the FSU community, strength of character, and alignment with the University’s mission)
- Snailey Dol – Recognized with the Sean A. Pittman Award (honors a student for outstanding leadership in the FSU and Tallahassee communities, with significant contributions to support of African American students)
- Sophia Ferraro – Recognized with the Outstanding Leadership and Service Award (given to students who have made significant contributions to the FSU community through leadership and service)
- STARS Alliance – Recognized with the Impactful Partnership Award (acknowledges two or more groups that have worked collaboratively on initiatives that created a positive and lasting impact)
- Paige Elkin – Recognized with the College Humanitarian of the Year award (celebrates students who have made a major impact through leadership and service within and beyond the FSU community)
