Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area and two years relevant experience or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years relevant experience. Experience in developing, designing, and executing marketing campaign materials. Experience creating key messages and marketing platforms. Experience developing and implementing marketing plans/strategies. Experience with project management and meeting project deadlines. Knowledge of the design and appropriate writing styles for the development of publications. Knowledge of web design and development principles and current media technology and trends.

Responsibilities
Serving as the liaison between University Communications and Information Technology Services, the Information Technology Marketing and Communications Strategy Manager oversees all aspects of a comprehensive, strategic, integrated and outcomes focused marketing and communications strategy to raise the profile, enhance the image and align a cross-platform strategy. Reporting initially to the Assistant Vice President for University Relations/Director of Integrated Marketing and Communications, and supporting the Information Technology Leadership Team, his/her role includes the responsibilities indicated below.
* Developing key messages, promotion, content and oversight of related resources, timelines, staff and budgets of any projects related to marketing and communications for ITS and coordination with IT leadership to align initiatives, messaging and promotion of IT initiatives, services, and products within the scope of change management and enterprise level projects as well as ongoing communications needs.
* Producing high-quality marketing and communication products and content across multiple channels using traditional, Web-based and social media platforms to include development and enhancement of ITS web brand and content.
* Managing the process to proactively identify Information Technology stories and opportunities to raise the profile and promote the department’s efforts related to key technology initiatives, projects and services, ensuring that all products and content supports and reflects the Florida State University brand, key initiatives, message, and mission.
