STARS Students Travel to Atlanta to Network with Corporate Companies

In early November students in the FSU STARS program traveled to Atlanta, GA to meet with six companies over the span of two days to learn about what it is like to work for a large company, as well as what it takes to land a position at a corporate company. Students were also able to see what it would be like to be your own boss working at a start-up.

School of Communication Science and Disorders Doctoral Candidate Micah Hirsch was recently selected as the 2022 New Century Scholars Doctoral Scholarship. Every year, fifteen doctoral students in communication science and disorders programs are chosen to receive this award to support their studies.
