Responsibilities
This position is responsible for servers and systems administration of an enterprise environment; which includes support of hardware, operating systems, and related core Microsoft applications such as Active Directory, Exchange, Lync, Sharepoint, SQL and SCCM. Utilizes consulting, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills to resolve issues.

Installs, configures, and monitors computer hardware and operating system software for enterprise computing environments and/or departmental computing environments managed by Information Technology Services. Responsible for both physical servers and virtual machines. Responsible for ensuring these systems are operational when needed, performing necessary maintenance and securing the systems.

Administers and maintains systems and services associated with Microsoft technologies, including but not limited to Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Lync, Microsoft SharePoint services, Microsoft SQL Server services and Systems Center Configuration Manager. Responsible for operation and availability of these services.

Collects and analyzes usage and performance data; diagnoses problems and takes appropriate action anytime, day or night.

Provides technical advice and consultation to ITS staff and the FSU community regarding complex computing problems and applications. Shares in responsibility for responding to Help Desk tickets.

Shares responsibilities for providing support 24×7. Other duties as necessary.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or other appropriate degree and two years’ experience or a combination of appropriate post high school education and experience equal to six years.

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Ability to document existing and new processes.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.

Ability to utilize problem solving skills.

Knowledge of applicable computer software and operating systems.

Knowledge of standard programming languages, concepts, practices, and procedures within the technology field.

Experience working with Windows 2008 R2 and Windows 2012 R2 servers.

Experience administering Active Directory 2008 R2 or 2012 R2 and Exchange 2010 or 2013 or Exchange Online.

Preferred
* Advanced systems administration in enterprise Microsoft server environment (minimum 4 years)
* Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2010 or 2013
* Knowledge and experience with Office 365
* Experience in PowerShell scripting
* Advanced knowledge and experience in Active Directory 2008 or 2012 Administration
* Experience with ADFS
* Experience with Microsoft Lync 2010 or 2013.
* Advanced troubleshooting skills
* Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with IT staff, management and other personnel

Anticipated Salary Range
Negotiable based upon experience.

Schedule
Monday- Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.

Pay Plan
This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.
